Class Catalog 21 Dealers School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the game. Casino variations and proper single deck, double deck and shoe procedures are discussed in detail. Procedures used for game protection are explained in check cutting, shuffling, turning cards, counting and clearing the layout. Credit play, fills, pit procedures and proper suiting and sorting the deck are presented. Mastery of the physical skills of dealing are essential for success in this career field. The student will have "hands on" training in the simulated casino laboratory developing these skills and applying the principles and procedures learned during lecture class. Mini-Baccarat Dealers School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the game. Proper dealing procedure, game protection, check cutting, shuffling, cutting decks, use of shoe, taking and paying, commissions and marking are covered. Lecture on converting, forced draws, forced stands, dealer calls, bankroll fills, credits, credit play and customer courtesy are covered in detail. Laboratory hours are spent mastering the physical skills of the game. Professional Bartending This program objective is to provide the graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to satisfy the entry level requirements of this profession. Every part of your bartending school training takes
place in a cocktail lounge classroom. You learn bartending by doing,
just like on the job training. Our exclusive hands on bartending school
training methods make it easy and fun to learn bartending. Our bartending
school has a full modern working bar with multiple student workstations.
During the bartending school training, our instructors show you how,
and than you go behind the bar and practice making the drinks. Craps/Dice Dealing School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the game. Proper dealing procedures and game protection are explained for line bets, come bets, check cutting, stick handling, stick calls, totaling and converting, bankroll fills and credits, credit play, table protection and customer courtesy. Procedures and formulas for calculating correct bet payoffs in proposition bets, buy bets, odds for come bets and don't come bets. A crap dealer is expected to maintain control over the most hectic game in the casino. The dealer must efficiently and accurately collect, place and pay multiple bets in seconds. The student will have "hands on" training in the simulated laboratory developing these skills and applying the principles and procedures covered during lecture class. Keno Writing School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the game. Straight, multi-game and way tickets are taught in detail. Computerized and manual systems are covered. Proper procedures in writing tickets, running, calling, punching, payoffs and helping to instruct players are presented. Laboratory hours are spent developing the skills taught in lecture. The student also develops teaching skills to teach the play of the game to novice players. Pai_Gow Poker School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the game. Proper procedures and game protection is presented for check cutting, shuffling, cutting deck, dealing procedures, turning cards, ranking order and placement, house banker and player banker, making change, paying bets and collecting commission. The simulated casino laboratory is used by the students to master the skills of the game and properly setting the hands. Poker School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the games. Extensive time is spent covering the ranking order of poker hands, shills,check cutting, making change and handling money, shuffling, cutting the deck, grip and delivery. Limits, antes, buy-ins and forced bets will be covered. Skills in handling customer disputes and instructing new players will be developed. Laboratory hours are spent mastering the physical skills of the game. Roulette School Students will first learn the rules, object and terminology of the games. Proper procedures and game protection is presented for check cutting, moving checks, spinning ball, marking, picking up checks, converting and totaling, bankroll fills and credits, credit play and customer courtesy. Procedures and formulas for calculating correct payoffs are presented.
Casino Dealing Level I 313 clock hours - 13 weeks - 14.5 credit hours - Tuition $1,957.50. This program objective is to provide the graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a challenging career with a casino as a Twenty-One, Roulette and Pai-Gow Dealer. Casino Dealing Level II 378 clock hours - 15.7 weeks - 17.5 semester credit hours - Tuition $2,362.50. This program objective is to provide the graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a challenging position with a casino as a Twenty-One, Craps and Roulette Dealer. Casino Dealing Level III 620 clock hours - 25.75 weeks - 29 semester credit hours - Tuition $3,912.50. This program objective is to provide the graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a challenging career in the casino industry. This six game program is designed for those for those who wish not only to deal the games, but to advance within the casino industry into casino surveillance, pit supervision or other administrative positions. Knowledge in dealing Twenty-One, Craps, Roulette, Poker, Pia-Gow Poker and Mini-Baccarat is a fundamental in advancement in the casino industry. Professional Bartending 60 clock hours - 2.5 weeks - 3.5 semester credit hours - Tuition $650.00. This program objective is to provide the graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to satisfy the entry level requirements of this profession.
